Kahne wins Coca-Cola 600

Kasey Kahne won his second race in as many weeks Sunday after the No.20 car of Tony Stewart blew a tire with three laps to go and Kahne took the lead. The No. 20 car had a 5 second lead on Kahne before blowing the lead which makes it just that more frustrating for crew chief Greg Zipadelli. “It’s just stupid. I don’t know,” Zipadelli said. “We must have run over something, a small leak or something. But I’ll just say we lost a tire with a five and a half second lead.” “I don’t even know what to say, I’m so frustrated. I feel bad for everybody. Behind Kahne finished Greg Bifle took second Kyle Busch third, Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt Jr. rounded out the top five.
